We encourage EVERYONE to wear orange in honor and support of Boarding School Survivors and those who never returned home.

Orange Shirt Day honors the more than 150,000 Native children who endured the boarding school system, where many experienced physical, sexual and emotional abuse. The effects of that system created intergenerational trauma that Native families and communities continue to experience today.

Wear orange. Remember the children. Honor the survivors.
