Sault Tribe Traditional Medicine will hold Fall Fasting Camp, and Women’s Fast for Mother Earth, Oct. 2‑6 this year at the Mary Murray Culture Camp on Sugar Island. The camp is located at 266 Homestead Rd. on Sugar Island, Mich. Fasting will take place at the camp from Oct. 2 through 6. The Women’s Fast for Mother Earth will take place from sunrise to sunset on Oct. 5, followed by a Sweat Lodge and Feast. Participants must be 18 years or older.
