SAULT STE. MARIE — The Sault Tribe’s Board of Directors will hold a regular meeting at the Kewadin Casino and Convention Center in Sault Ste. Marie on Feb. 3 beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Resolutions on the agenda are ‘Establishing Endowment Fund - Golf Scholarship,’ ‘Approving Special Counsel Contract: Greene & Assoc.,’ ‘Approving Engineering Consultant Agreement,’ ‘FY 2009 DeMawating Budget Mod, FY 2009 Enterprise Cap Ex,’ ‘FY 2009 Ojibway Language,’ ‘Amending Ch 14: Special Meetings,’ ‘Amending Ch. 14: Permitting Video Conferencing,’ ‘Amending Ch. 14: Sergeant-at-Arms,’ ‘Adopting Ch. 15: Tribal Freedom of Information’ and ‘Business/Strategic Plans for All Dept./Enterprises.’

In new business, ‘Committee Resignations/Appt.,’ ‘Relinquishments’ and ‘February 17, 2009, Meeting’ will be considered.

Prior to the meeting, a board workshop will be held beginning at 9:00 a.m. the workshop is closed from 9:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. the Elderly Advisory Committee is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., the Powwow Committee is scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Inland Hunting and Fishing at 2:00 p.m., and matters raised by the membership at 5:00 p.m.
