Sacred Fire Teachings
Please join the Sault Tribe Language & Culture Department for an evening of cultural teachings about our Gichi-twaa Ishkode (sacred fires) June 8, 2026, 7-9 p.m., Niigaanagiizhik Ceremonial Building 11 Ice Circle Dr., Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783.

Learn the necessary protocols to serve as a firekeeper for community gatherings and ceremonies. A light meal will be provided. All are welcome to come and share.
