Aaniin/Boozhoo, everyone! The Sault Tribe Language and Culture Department will be hosting the 2nd Annual Anishinaabe Miikaans Anishinaabemowin Guided Trail Walk on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020, at the Mary Murray Culture Camp, from 1 to 4 p.m., on Sugar Island, Mich. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, space is limited and you must sign up by Friday, Sept. 25, 2020 by 5 p.m. To sign up for this event, please call the Language and Culture Department at 906‑635‑6050 or emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. Once you have registered, you will be given transportation information.

All attendees will be pre-screened for Covid-19 symptoms prior to departure to the Mary Murray Culture Camp. 

All attendees will be required to wear an appropriate PPE Mask. If you do not have a mask, we will provide them before departure.

All attendees must practice safe social distancing.

All attendees must follow proper hygiene practices and use the provided sanitizing stations on location.

All children must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.
