DIY Pickford: Discovering fly fishing and fly tying

Interested in a new hobby? Join experienced instructors Michelle Jarvie and Sheila Bergdoll for an introduction to fly fishing and fly tying on Thursdays, Nov. 29 and Dec. 13, at 6:30 p.m. This class is part of the DIY Pickford series and is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Fly fishing equipment display and a couple of practice rods to teach casting.

  • Fly tying equipment and materials on display as well as an opportunity to tie a fly.
