Community input meetings scheduled for Sept. 10 and 12 in Hessel, St. Ignace, Sault Ste. Marie, Manistique and Escanaba

The Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Transportation Department community meetings were planned to inform and gather feedback for updating the Tribal Improvement Plan and Long Range Transportation & Capital Improvement Plan. These plans guide future projects and initiatives for Sault Tribe and Transportation including construction, bridges, trails, harbors, docks, planning, safety, transit and special initiatives such as cultural tourism and place making.
