SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - A regular meeting of the Sault Tribe Board of Directors will be held Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at the Kewadin Casino and Convention Center in Sault Ste. Marie beginning at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be preceded by “Matters Raised by the Membership” from 5 to 6:00 p.m.
Resolutions to be considered are: two Partial Waivers; Tribal Homeland Security Grant; 2010 Head Start Grant; 2010 Early Head Start Grant; Victim Assistance Program; Family Violence Prevention/Services; Authorization of Right of Way, Casino Ring Road; Authorization of Right of Way, Shores Access Road; Governmental Amending Flexibility Policy; Casino Amending Flexibility Policy; Amending Ch. 20: Waishkey Bay; Youth Council Bylaws - Young Dreams/Rudyard; Budget Modification - Nutrition Services/Diabetes; and Budget Modification - YEA.
Under new business, the board will consider: Special Needs/Enrollment: Relinquishment, Committee Appointments, Conservation Committee Request, Chief of Police, and Flex Time Policy.
