SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. —The Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Board of Directors will hold a virtual regular meeting at 5 p.m. on March 2. Due to the COVID-19 State of Emergency, the meetings are not open to the public.

“Matters Raised by the Membership” will be held at 4 p.m. by virtual attendance. Please check the Sault Tribe website for the meeting link and Membership Form that must be completed.

Resolutions on the agenda are, under Budget Modifications: GLRI- Whitefish Recruitment, Gitchi Auto Home/RV and Grant and Establish Budget; MERS 2021 Defined Benefit Plan Addendum; CTAS Grant; Authorization to Utilize Seymour Rd. for NADP Site; Trust Land Cancellation - Carpentiers Lot 131; Trust Land Cancellation - Carpentiers Lot 165; Trust Land Lease Carpentiers/McLean; of Tribal Charter for Sault Tribe Business Alliance; Subcontract for Admin/Biological CORA; and Amending Chapter 21: Hunting and Inland Fishing Sec. 21.522.
