SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. —A regular meeting of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Board of Directors takes place at the Sault Kewadin Casino starting at 5 p.m. on Nov. 3. Due to the COVID-19 State of Emergency, the meeting will not be open to the public.

Resolutions on the agenda are, under budget modifications: ACFS – Family First Prevention, Environmental – Housing/Utility Authority Contracts, Environmental – Housing/Uranium Testing/Treatment, Environmental – Solid Waste, Mitigation Action Funds, Natural Resources – Inland Fish & Wildlife, MIS and Indirect Cost, OMB – Budget Department, Special Events, Tribal Ops, BOD; Emergency Housing Selection; Possession of Firearms; Reaffirm/Updating BOD Master Strategic Plan; COVID -19 Appreciation Pay Policy; Quarantine Policy for Team Members – Hotspots; Re-Open Sault Tribe Board Meeting to the Public and Unanimously Approved Social Security Budget.

Under new business, the board will consider board concerns.
