SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. —A regular meeting of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Board of Directors will be held at the Sault Kewadin Casino Grand Island Room, starting at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21. Due to the COVID-19 State of Emergency, the meeting is not open to the public.

Resolutions on the agenda are Budget Modifications for Environmental – GLRI Quality, Environmental-Solid Waste, Environmental-Uranium Testing/Treatment, Education-YEA, Governmental-Sault Tribe Thrive and Sault Walk In Clinic; Acceptance of 2019 Governmental Audit; Adopting Hazard Pay Policy; Adopting COVID 19 Emergency Leave Policy; Travel Policy; Tribal Member Commercial Fisher Assistance Program.

Under New Business, the board will consider Relinquishment, two Key Employees and Board Concerns.
