2019 Advisory Election Primary ResultsThe Sault Tribe Special Advisory Election Primary vote count was held Oct. 17, 2019. The two top vote getters, Betty Freiheit with 654 votes and Debra-Ann Pine with 627 votes, will run in the general election. 

Oct. 18 is the deadline for contests relating to the vote count. General election ballots will be mailed to voters Oct. 23 and general election day is Nov. 7.

The Special Advisory Election for was held to fill the Unit I vacancy following the death of Unit I Director Denny McKelvie. The term ends June 25, 2020.
