SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. —A regular meeting of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Board of Directors will be held at Kewadin Casino starting at 5 p.m. on Dec. 11. The meeting will be preceded by “Matters Raised by the Membership” from 4 to 5 p.m.

Resolutions on the agenda are establishing Great Lakes Restoration Initiative, American marten budget; Tribal Opioid Treatment and Recovery grant budget; Tribal Opioid Prevention grant budget; Perinatal Opioid Use Disorder grant budget; Big Bear – Pro Shop budget; Continuing Funding – Governmental Schedule C;  Northern White Cedar/MTU-ITC; Tribal Transportation Improvement Plan; USDA Rural Development Agency Grant/Loan; Depart of Commerce – Economic Development Agency; Srinergy Solar Project – Kewadin Sault, Chi Mukwa, Shores; Child Protection Background Investigations; Auth. Full Settlement – Tribal Ct. Case WC-17-01; Litigation Support Funds –CORA and Open Deposit Acct – Flagstar Bank.

Under new business, the board will consider disenrollments, committee request, 2019 board calendar and board concerns.
