SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. —A regular meeting of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Board of Directors will be held at Kewadin Casino starting at 5 p.m. on Oct. 16. The meeting will be preceded by “Matters Raised by the Membership” from 4 to 5 p.m.

Resolutions on the agenda are, Budgets: Child Advocacy Project, Victim Witness Coordinator, ACFS-Victim’s Assistance, Alcohol/Substance Abuse and Sault Tribe News; Approving Lease-Marquette Center; Authorization to Permit Commercial Billboards; Authorize Construction Contract American Café Project; 2019 Self Governance Funding Agreement; Amending Ch. 45: Workers Comp Code; Authorizing 2020 Negotiating Team.

Under New Business, the board will consider Committee Request; Dec. 4, 2018, Meeting Change; and Board Concerns.
