SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. —A regular meeting of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Board of Directors will be held at Kewadin Casino starting at 5 p.m. on March 6. The meeting will be preceded by “Matters Raised by the Membership” from 4 to 5 p.m.

Resolutions on the agenda are: Partial Waiver; Trust Land Auction Parcel-Mackinac County; Trust Land Brown Parcel-Mackinac County; FY18 CTAS Application; Native Youth Initiative grant; Amending Ch. 11: Membership Code; Amending Res. 2015-71: Membership on JKL Fiduciary Com.; FY 2018 Budget Doc 003; FY 2018 Gov’t Capital Purchases; Continuing Funding Authority; FY 2019 Budget Doc 001 and under Budget Modifications: Buildings-Manistique, EDC-Sanjgon Mini Storage, Ed-Head Start HHS-Head Start BIA, HC-Laboratory, HC-Traditional Medicine, Manistique Health Clinic, ACFS-Child Care Development 2800, ACFS-Child Care Development 2801 and ACFS-Child Care Development 2805.

Under New Business, the board will consider a committee request, two license transfers, a disenrollment, an AIHEC request, job postings and board concerns.
