The Environment program recently added a Pesticides Specialist to our staff. Lonny Bourque, a tribal member, has been hard at work already though he's only been on the job a week!

Mosquitoes have been on everyone's mind lately - with this spring's abundance of standing water the mosquito population has exploded! In service to the Tribe and its members and staff, Lonny has compiled all the best info out there about how to handle mosquitoes without resorting to toxic chemicals.

Attached is a handout listing the best ideas that Lonny's research has turned up. Print it out and post it, take it home, try some of the techniques out. Let us know how they work for you.
