The Rosemary Gaskin Scholarship was established to honor and carry-on Rosemary’s leadership and good works.
Students compete for a $1,000 scholarship by writing a 500-word essay focusing on:
Native American rights
Education issues
Issues of racial or gender equality
Reviving Native cultural/traditional beliefs
Who is eligible?
Sault Tribe members
No minimum Indian blood quantum
Attend a public intuition of higher education
Not need based
Full time or part time
How do I apply?
Write or submit a 500-word essay
Include a copy of Tribal card
Include return address, phone number, school attending and degree.
Apply by March 31 for Fall 2023.
