ACFSSault Tribe’s Anishnaabek Community and Family Services (ACFS) Low Income Household Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) will begin accepting applications on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023. The LIHEAP Program provides assistance to reduce the home heating/energy costs to eligible Tribal Households in the Sault Tribe’s seven-county service area. Please contact a Case Manager in your area if you would like assistance completing the application.

Sault Tribe’s ACFS Low Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP) currently has funding available for the 2023-2024 funding year. The LIHWAP Program provides assistance to restore water service/prevent water disconnections to eligible Sault Tribe Housings in the Sault Tribe’s seven-county service are. Please contact a Case Manager in your area if you would like assistance completing the application.
