St. Ignace Recovery Walk
St. Ignace Recovery Walk on Sept. 26
The third annual St. Ignace Recovery Walk is on Thursday, Sept. 26. Gathering between 4:30-5:15 p.m. at the McCann Elder Center at the west end of McCann Street, walkers take a course to the St. Ignace Museum of Ojibwa Cultural.
The annual walk is in support of individuals and families in recovery and to recognize the positive effects recovery can have on community. The public is invited to make the walk or just celebrate recovery and encourage treatment with activities, food and traditional teachings for children and adults at the museum following the walk.
