Guided walking tour in St. Ignace
Join us every Monday and Tuesday evening from July 1 through Aug, 27 for a guided walking tour along the Huron Boardwalk with Onnalee Gibson, a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, who provides traditional teachings. The tours last an hour and a half and is a leisurely and fun way to explore downtown St. Ignace. Join us as we uncover the history, legends and culture of one of the oldest towns in Michigan! From fur trading and logging to Native American traditions, local geography and biographies of early settlers. This tour is sure to inform and entertain.
         
The FREE tours begin at the Museum of Ojibwa Culture, 500 N. State Street at 7 p.m. and depart rain or shine.
