ARC Car Parade - Domestic Violence Awareness Event

The Advocacy Resource Center invites you to our annual Domestic Violence Awareness Event. In lieu of our usual DV walk, to keep things COVID Safe, we are hosting a car parade! Participants are encouraged to decorate their vehicles with purple and white décor and line up at the Niigaanagiizhik Cultural Building at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21.

We will be providing each car with a DV flag for your vehicle and a purple awareness ribbon magnet (while supplies last) and other awareness items from various community resources. Vehicles will depart at 5:45 (estimated) and make a short drive through Sault Ste. Marie to promote awareness for Domestic Violence and return to the Niigaanagiizhik for a T-shirt and depart for home.

The Advocacy Resource Center hopes to see the community join in to promote healthy relationships and to end domestic violence.
