SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. —A regular meeting of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Board of Directors will be held at Kewadin Casino starting at 5 p.m. on Feb. 6. The meeting will be preceded by “Matters Raised by the Membership” from 4 to 5 p.m.

Resolutions on the agenda are, under Budgets, EDC Sign Board, ACFS-USDA, Tribal Transit, HC-Dental, HC-Mental Health Council, HC-Admin/Third Party, HC-Optical/ Third Party and Am. Indian Substance Abuse and Family Spirit; Budget Document 003; FY 2018 Government Capital Purchases; Continuing Funding Authority; Trust Land Lease-Osborne; Tribal Practices for Wellness Indian Country; Amending Ch. 71: Prohibiting Use of Nicotine Products; FY 2018 Museum and Library Services Grant; National Indian Gaming Association 2018; Supporting United Three Fires Against Violence; BIA Request for Tribal Assistance; and Proclamation Honoring Sault Tribe Conservation Committee.

Under New Business, the board will consider Small Mesh Request, Committee Request and Board Concerns.
