SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - A regular meeting of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Board of Directors will be held at the Hessel Tribal Center starting at 6:00 p.m. on Nov. 22. The meeting will be preceded by “Matters Raised by the Membership” from 4 to 6:00 p.m.

Resolutions on the regular meeting agenda are, under Budget, Utility Authority - Odenaang, Sanitation - BE-13-J11, Sanitation - BE -15-J54, National Congress of American Indians, Elderly - Mental Health/Aging Initiative and ACFS - Child Care Development; 2017 Budget Doc 003; 2017 Gov’t Capital Purchases; 2017 Budget Doc 004; 2017 Enterprises Capital Purchases; Transportation Improvement Plan; Mackinac County Cooperative Agreement; Am. Exempt/Non Exempt Team Member Policies; Am. Handbook Definitions; Am. Sick Leave Policies; Am. Vacation Policies; Am. Policy Benefits/Eligibility Sheets; Selection Outside Counsel; Implementation of Annual COLA for Employees; Overtime Exception; Implementation of FLSA; and Salaried Non-Exempt Team Members.

Under new business, the board will consider: Committee Requests, Board Travel and Equal Board Access to Information.
