SAULT TRIBE LAW ENFORCEMENT – JR. POLICE ACADEMY FUNDRAISER

Sault Tribe Law Enforcement will be hosting a Golf Scramble on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Tanglewood Marsh Golf Course in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. with Tee Off time at 11 a.m. The cost is $50 per person (4-person teams), with a picnic style dinner provided at the end of the scramble. There will be prizes, auction and more at the golf course. Please call Sault Tribe Law Enforcement at 906-635-6065 for details.

All proceeds from this event will be used to help fund Sault Tribe Law Enforcement’s Annual Jr. Police Academy. The Academy provides 40-45 tribal youth a weeklong opportunity to interact not only with law enforcement agencies, but other emergency response agencies such as Fire, EMS, Coast Guard, Immigrations and Customs Enforcement and Border Patrol, providing the opportunity to establish positive relationships with these agencies and their personnel at a young age.
