Please review the application very carefully. Applicants will need to include their high school transcripts as well as a letter of reference from a school official and/or a tribal education director. These letters need to speak to the student's academic interests and commitment.

There is a $35 fee for submitting an application to NMU, but students can apply for a fee waiver. Click here for the NMU application fee waiver form.

Participating students will spend one week on the NMU campus and one week in the Ottawa National Forest at Camp Nesbit. This is a residential program with classes and workshops throughout the day. Click here to read a PDF version of the brochure.
