SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. —A regular meeting of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Board of Directors will be held at Kewadin Casino starting at 5 p.m. on Jan. 16. The meeting will be preceded by “Matters Raised by the Membership” from 4 to 5 p.m.

Resolutions on the agenda are, under Budgets: Health Center-Road to Wellness, Health Center-Traditional Practitioner and Northern Hospitality; Rural Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence/Stalking; Legal Assistant for Victims; Federal Highway Safety Grant; DOT Federal Highway AID Grant Proposal; 2018-2022 Transportation Plan (TIP)/Inventory; Long Range Transportation/Capital Improvement; and Purchase of Property.

Under New Business, the board will consider Relinquishments-Special Needs/Enrollment, Committee Request-Various Committees, Board Concerns-Director Causley and a Feb. 20, 2018, Meeting Change.
