SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. —A regular meeting of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Board of Directors will be held at the Ramada Inn in Marquette starting at 6 p.m. on Aug. 15. The meeting will be preceded by “Matters Raised by the Membership” from 4 to 6 p.m.
Resolutions on the agenda are: Stand In Level Forest Planning, Gathering Cedar – Partnership –MTU, Symetra Life Insurance Company, and First Insurance Funding Corp. Budget Modifications are: Forestry Funds, MEDC Grand Marais, ACFS – USDA, Health Center After Care, Health Center – Maintenance, Head Start 2018, FY2018 Budget Doc 002, and Continuing Funding Authority.
Under new business, the board will consider Committee Requests, Audit Committee, Key Employee, and Board Concerns.
