Girl’s warrior camp, June 27‑30
Ogichidaa Kwe Bimaadiziwin Kinoomaagewin Girl’s Warrior Camp, June 27‑30 at the Mary Murray Cultural Camp.

Open to all female youth aged 10-14 who are members of a federally recognized tribe.

Hosted by Sault Tribe Traditional Medicine Program and the Mary Murray Cultural Camp.

Participants will learn traditional knowledge and skills based on traditional roles of the Anishinebek kwe through women’s teachings. Hands on activities throughout the four days: spirituality, natural life skills, healthy lifestyles, physical activities and leadership skills.

24-hour adult supervision, dorm style sleeping at the Mary Murray Cultural Camp, all meals provided.
