Pickford Family Scavenger Hunt

The Friends of Pickford Community Library is teaming up with the Pickford Non-Profit Coalition and the Hay Days Planning Committee to bring back the Pickford Family Scavenger Hunt during Hay Days on Aug. 1. This event provides important opportunities for family time learning and fun-filled activities together. Items on the scavenger hunt list focus on citizenship, service to country, literacy, volunteerism, local government, history, local family-serving organizations and healthy habits.

The free hunt starts at 4:30 p.m. and ends at 7:30 p.m., and we ask participants to try and have hunts started by 6:30 p.m. Hunt is in downtown Pickford and starts and ends at the at the Pickford Arts and Learning Center, next to the Pickford Community Library on East Main Street.

Families start the hunt by getting “hunt lists” at the arts center. Once lists are completed, return them to the arts center to be entered into drawings for prizes. Healthful snacks available for families to enjoy.

Participants are the Pickford Community Library, Friends of Pickford Community Library, Pickford Fire Department, Pickford Historical Museum, War Memorial Hospital, United Way, Great Start Collaborative, the Pennington Home, 50th Circuit Court Judge Eric Blubaugh and others!
